We hope you are all well and looking forward to the Thanksgiving holidays. The Foundation Board and staff have been very busy furthering the Foundation's mission this year. Here are some current and upcoming events that we believe will interest you: Yesterday, Foundation president Scott Stapp presented to New Yorkers for Children Executive Director Claudia Fleming a check for $150,000. Many of you contributed to this collection, and we thank you sincerely for being so generous. We will continue to accept donations for NYFC, so if you still wish to contribute, you may do so on our website (www.witharmswideopen.org). Scott made the presentation at NBC Studios in New York City, where Scott, Mark, and Scott P. are preparing to perform tomorrow night on Saturday Night Live. Don't miss them! As we move closer to the holiday season, the Foundation is preparing to conduct several projects to benefit needy children and their families. We have been asked to conduct a gift collection for abused and neglected children. If you would like to participate in this worthwhile cause, you can find more information on our website. We will release information on more holiday projects in the near future. In an effort to reach out to communities beyond the Tallahassee and Orlando areas, we are inviting our supporters to send to us information regarding organizations and families in your area needing assistance. Because so many have given to organizations assisting victims of the September 11th attacks, many local non-profit groups are suffering from a lack of donations. If you are aware of ways in which help is needed within your community, e-mail, mail, or fax to us written details on how others may provide help to your local organization or family. We will review the selections and post them on our website, in a community bulletin board fashion. It is our hope that others in your area, as well as outside of your area, will be interested in providing assistance. We hope that many of you residing in the same locations will be interested in joining together and serving your communities, in honor of the Foundation. Many of you have written that you have been inspired by Creed's music, and that you feel mov As always, thank you for your support. On behalf of Scott, Jeff, Rob, and Ken, we wish you all a safe and peaceful Thanksgiving. Cindy McNeely Executive Director PS: Don't forget, Creed will be performing, along with the Tallahassee Boys Choir, at halftime during the Dallas Cowboys game on Thanksgiving Day!e Boys C To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp
