Hey!!! I just got back from the live acousitic performace at KRock! It was awesome. First they shoved us all in a little room to sign some papers...my friend Nicole and I were lucky enough to be one of the first out of the room and into the studio. We walked into Howard Stern's studio and there they were! We got to stand right in the front until they shoved some girl in front of me. But, I could still see really well. Cane interviewed them and they did My Sacrifice acousitc...then they interviewed a bit more and played album version of Bullets. Then they interviewed again and did an acoustic version of Weathered. Then they talked a bit more and played the album version of signs. It was awesome. They looked pretty damn good. Mark was wearing the usual...Third Rail shirt (tight around those big arms!!!) and black pants. Scott was head to toe in black...leather jacket and all. Flip had on a blueish colored shirt and black pants and just sort of sat in the back...didn't say much and of course didn't play since it was an acousitic performance. (He and April got married back in August!) Brett Hestla was there...I spoke to him a bit. He said the new virgos single will drop in feburary followed by the album. ALSO:
FIRST TOUR DATE FOR CREED: JANUARY 14th LAKELAND, FLORIDA!!! So, you FL people don't have to whine about having to wait until the end of the tour to see them!!! (Yes, Mad...I'm talking to you!!! JK!!!)
I have my copy of Weathered...I can't stop listening to it. Don't quite know which song is my favorite yet...but Who's Got My Back and Hide are definately growing on me. Freedom Fighter is pretty damn good as well. It's so much better without the beeps!! I got my CD signed and all! I AM SO EXCITED!
Well, I'm off to bed because I'm getting up early to get in line for Stand-by audience tickets for SNL. Wish me luck!! Damn, I love living in NYC!!
