Mystery posting

I just thought that i would pass on one of the posts that an ex lister got answered by Mark. It was a pretty good question. 

As a long-time grunger, I was surprised when any album surpassed Nirvana's, but My Own Prison did just that in '97, in particular with the song that has become my favorite, Torn. I was wondering what you could tell me about that song, its inspiration, tabs, that kind of thing, because it holds a certain fascination for me. Thank you for your time.

Torn was written at a time in my life where I was pretty down with work and school, and it was just tough times. It was a good release from that state of mind that I was in
