1)WOOHOO!  More publicity for my list!  Thanks, Scott!
2)I'll try and return the favor by plugging your list when a "tech question" arises.
3)I have announced on my OTHER list, OMCF@yahoogroups.com, that I am shutting down tomorrow, as even I don't have THAT much time on my hands.  Anyone who does want to join an alternate (ostensibly Creed related) list, visit http://www.debbir.com/scripts/lyris.pl.
4)Haven't I taught Scott well? ;-)

With the new Creed album due out in less than two weeks, we can be expecting an increase in mail here on the list, and so far, there is still a cap at 500 mails per day.
So, In an effort to try and keep the list more Creed (or just music based), and try and keep virus warnings and such off the list, while at the same time attempting to control the masses of e-mail's I receive from people looking for computer help or to have me confirm a virus warning they have received (an added perk for me), I have decided to make use of the mailing list software that's been sitting on my hard drive this past year or so, and set up my technical support (*cough cough*) list.
Subscribing is very easy.  YAY for easy things!!!  You have several choices...
  1. Send a blank e-mail to command@stormmail.cjb.net with the subject line "SUBSCRIBE" (minus the quotation marks, of course), then reply to the confirmation.
  2. Go to http://www.publicservicesonline.com/nightstorm and click on SUBSCRIBE there, and in the same way as the old creed mailing list used to work (back when it was on Listserv), you sign yourself up.
  3. Click HERE and a mail will be generated automatically... all you would have to do is click on "SEND".  Be advised that this mail will be sent from your default account, so if that's not the account you want signed up, then I suggest one of the other two options.
This will NOT be a high volume list, as it is (origionally) only for virus and computer assistance.  Much like Keith and Debbi's list (since I'm following in Keith's footsteps of shameless plugging, EVERYONE GO AND SIGN UP FOR KEITH AND DEBBI'S LIST AT http://www.debbir.com/scripts/lyris.pl), this list will not contain rules, but common sense is a request.
The only reason that this list is being set up is so there is an anternate to posting virus info, and asking for computer help, on the official Creed list.
Any hate mail and/or attacking comments directed to me regarding this will be ignored, so {=oÞ
