Besides the fact that Top 40 radio plays the same stuff over...and
over...and over...I can only take listening to Britney Spear's "Slave 4
U" so many times, yanno! It totally wears songs out to the point where
one just can't stand them anymore.

At least the rock/metal station here plays a wide variety of stuff, I
actually just heard "Smells like a Teen Spirit" by Nirvana, which made me
happy because that's one of the songs I grew up on. They also play a
number of things by Staind, Disturbed, Blink 182, Sum 41, Ozzy, Metallica
(for all the Keithys out there   :o)  ), Nickelback, Tool, Papa Roach,
Limp Bizkit, Rage Against the Machine, Soundgarden, NIN, wow there are so
many, LoL.

Gina, I totally agree with you about the top 40 stations, I mean sure some of the songs are good but damn they're not THAT good that they have to be played every fifteen minutes! It becomes intolerable after awhile.  Our rock station here definitely has a more varied playlist, they play new stuff along with old stuff which is great.
