   Conversely, a bad video doesn't hurt record sales either....if the fans like the MUSIC not the acting.  I too hated the Higher video....it's the whole reason we coined the phrase "higher chicks", because the video did nothing to promote the music, only the "hot band guys" image, and brought a shitload of "fans" to the band....fans that care about the rest of the music, only that Stapp looks good in leather.  But even the hated Higher video didn't deter me from liking the bands music....I know how the guys felt about doing the video....and I'm sure most bands feel the same way when the director gives life to HIS view of the song, rather than the bands.
