 See, that's the whole point that you seem to be missing, Marc....there IS no answer without personal opinion.  That's what it's all about, how I'm PERSONALLY effected by the music!  Be it the vocals, the lyrics, the guitar riffs, the drums, bass, or all of it as a whole.  I don't have to disect it to know if I like it....I just have to LISTEN to it.  I guess for some of us, there's an aural sensation, a "vibe" if you will....that tells us what we like.  It would seem others aren't that in tune to their own senses.
