I totally agree, and the only videos of theirs that I truly like are "One", and their live concert videos from the box set. Cliff 'em All was also outstanding.

One good thing about Metallica videos, at least the older ones, are that they are, for the most part, live footage...no acting, no contrived mini-movie that doesn't relate to the song. That's how I remember the original MTV...live footage, nothing more. It was a nice way to see the bands perform live, that you didn't get a chance to actually attend a show. Damn how that program has strayed from it's roots!
