But I do realize that MS said that the browser could not be removed from the operating system. (Windows 95). Since it was interdependent with the operating system. Basically, I don't believe a word that MS claims. Be it a claim that Linux is a competing operating system. Or that the browser is or is not needed by the operating system. And cannot be removed without messing up the system, even more. Oh well! Sorry I missed the response to the browser question.
