AOL didn't mess up my Win ME system. It was just that I had to reboot to get it to work properly in Windows. All I have there is Netscape 6.2, multimedia players, IE6 and Outlook 6. Of all the mailers out there. I like the messenger (Netscape version 6.2). Because you can check your webmail, local accounts and AOL in one screen. sort of like a file manager. About signing up for AOL. I figured since I get a free trial offer and Creed exclusives. I would try it out for this particular month. The only thing that I found interesting was being able to stream albums. I streamed Lenny Kravitz new album. It was sort of mellow. But not a bad album. I sampled earlier albums from him and found them not too interesting. I never tried to click on the link in windows. Prior to signing up for AOL. Since I read most of my mail in Linux. I didn't have the link available. I'll have to try that link on my wifes computer. Which is AOL free. Just to see if it works without AOL.
