Cliff was a bass GOD, but Jason, after AJFA, filled his shoes VERY nicely indeed. It will definitely be interesting to hear the new sound though. There was a rumor a while back that Les Claypool might consider joining them again. I'd LOVE to hear that sound.

And of course, Jason has publicly said he'd be willing to rejoin them, but I don't think James would go for it.

heh, I like that! Well said. I'm just glad to see you're not one of those fans that think Metallica died with Cliff. I am curious to see, though, how they'll fare without Jason.
