They're taunting you... it's all part of some master plan with Wind-up to REALLY surprise everyone out there when they do actually release the next single... no one will actually be expecting the notification to mean anything, since they'll have sent out 10 or 12 false ones between now and then...

Either that, or someone at the server was sipping just a *bit* too much from the beer glass... *smirks, and waves at Ed*

yeah, I was online at about one in the morning and I got a notification and got all excited, thinking it may be another song or something, but it wasn't anything new.
