Ah, you hit a soft spot for me, Agie.  I'm a "lyric" person through and through.  If they don't have meaning to me, I probably don't like the song.  My husband teases me and calls it "message music".  I have a good girlfriend, though who wouldn't be able to tell you a single line of lyric to one of her favorite songs.  For her, it's all in the music. 
 
I guess it just goes to show ya.

But the fact, that it means something totally different to you - means - that you care about the meaning just a little and you were thinking about it. (*to mean* my new favorite word,lol)
 
Anyway for a lot of people (including me) lyrics are almost as much important as music. Sometimes you can really find out some cool meanings:), not necessarly what Scott thought when he wrote this, but how others feel it and what they think.
