I have been thinking about the meaning of the lyrics and this is what I have
come up with

<<Walking around I hear the sounds
Appearance seeking relief
I'm trying to find the reason to live
But the mind has closed down>>
seems to indicate a depression state of mind and searching for a way out

<<Oh these thorns in my side>>
could be things people say or do.

<<I know I have something free
I have something so raw>>
his singing and writing talent


<<I think they shoot cause they want it>>
the jealousy factor talked about

<<I feel forces all around me
Come on raise your head
Those who hide behind the shadows
Live with all this death>>
again he seems to be talking about the depression state of mind. Many in
depression deal with suicidal thoughts

<<Look at me  At least look at me when you shoot a bullet through my head
Through my head>>
most negative comments are said  when they are not present

<<In my lifetime When I'm disgraced Jealousy and lies
I laugh aloud Cause my life has gotten inside someone else's life>>
many have been helped through Creeds music


thats as far as I have gotten so far
