In yours and others that you know. I had a similar view for 7M3 when they came out with their not widely recieved album called "Orange Ave". I disliked several of the songs and voiced my opinion to other listers for that group. Maybe that past experience has something to do with my current acceptance of their second song. I did like it on first listen. Though I cringed slightly at the rough vocals. However, it sure beats 7M3's song called "Hold On". I'll give that to Creed. Your differing viewpoint is excellent. I didn't think that they would ever be a mainstream band. And I never dreamed that HC would outsell MOP by what it did. I think that if Creed had this sort of music back when they made MOP. I probably would have not followed the band too far. But now, I like the different direction. > I suppose that the opinion of three fans (me, Scott, and my sister Megan) > don't really matter a whole lot in the overall scheme of things, but at > least having two others agree with me lets me know that I'm not completely > daft in not liking the song that much. Oh well... maybe it'll grow on me. If you dislike the song. I wouldn't try to have it grow on you. But that is me. I either like it or don't. It is important to me to see different opinions of songs. A blank check is not a great idea. they might just put out anything with no thought to it. I'm sure that they are at least getting reports on howe people feel about their soon to be released venture. > The thing is, I LIKE some bands that others consider harder or darker... > Disturbed, Drowning Pool, Godsmack, Linkin Park, Type-O Negative, Tool, Rob > Zombie...
