I, for one, have downloaded the pager and the song over 7 times because I've had to d/l on each machine I want to play it on because it can't be played over the network so I have it 2 times at home (upstairs and downstairs) and 3 machines at work (machine with speakers, machine with headphones and machine in lab). Two of those machines have been reformatted since I downloaded it, so it's had to be downloaded again. So even if 20% or less of the people that download are responsible for multiple downloads, the actual audience count will be much lower than the download numbers we hear. (Fixed the spelling) Tara pointed out after that perhaps the reason that Wind-up was upset with MP3 versions being released by people privately was because they could no longer monitor how many times the song had been downloaded, which was a point I had not considered at the time. I had only released the MP3 version with good intentions in my mind, with hopes of having Creed reach out to a different fan base... but as it appears that no one (minus those that download it, of course) is impressed with my reasoning, I have ceased mentioning that I have it (or the page it would be at), and will no longer be sharing it with people. I just hope that they get a second single out soon, and perhaps (no pressure, mind you) consider the third format of MP3 for those of us who's computers just do not like the other choices. But either way, I'll stand by the decision made by Wind-up and brought to us by Ed. So Ed, if you happen to be reading this, I apologize for the trouble I have caused... and while I have your attention, where's the second single that the pager was promising us... I need new listening material to keep my excitement going for the upcoming weeks. {;o). ¤]\[][G}{T§TÖ®]v[¤ To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp
