Melissa just didn't realize that her personal views would be turned into
a personal attack upon her character.

Rather if you are for sexual acts that do not fullfill the biological
reason for sexual relations. Or think that everybody should support the
choice of homosexuality. It should not be directed towards another
persons character.

I guess the taliban does not support music. Like some other conservative
Muslim factions. So they probably kill people for singing also.

Let us not use the word attack too lightly, our nation was attacked, Melissa just caught the bad end of a debate.  Attack is such a vicious word.  It was a joke, as I've mentioned previously I did not say anything about her views on homosexuality it was just a quip in reference to her morality statement. I was actually thinking how rediculous the term "moral police" sounded, that's actually what prompted the joke, hell that sounded like a joke by itself.  Had the statement about morals come up from anyone else or under a different topic, I would've said the same thing, she just happened to be the lucky contestant this time around.  And I think the Taliban actually DO kill people for singing, and THAT'S not a joke.  The Taliban will kill anyone for doing anything that is not within their strict moral code.
