To a person that is well known and cannot find seclusion. A song with high emotion and resonating vocals. Where the music was full of energy. so when I heard a song that was mediocre and would have not got the band past the shelling oysters, in a restaurant. I was a bit disappointed. The lack of significant bass tracks was an expected consequence of the bombing of BM and the arrogance to not get a full time bass player. Hell, they didn't even consider the option. Unless it was a highly secure secret. A four member band is what they started out as. So to try to become a Rush style band. Instead of a four membered band was crazy to begin with. I was also a little upset about all of the fancy security measures that they have for the sneak previews and the pager. Also the leaving out of the 5 percent Mac users from being able to have a program to preview the singles, videos and so forth. I was upset that I cannot play the new material in Linux. but have to boot into windows. Mac users are forced to use an entire different machine to get it. So combined with my disappointment with not being able to view the stuff without going to the darkside and the exclusion of Mac users from being able to enjoy the new material. This is the Internet. Not MS lowland. They ought to have made the access to the stuff Internet capable. not Windows Exclusive. They did at least give you the choice to use Real Audio. Though it was a secured version of real audio. I didn't have to listen to tin eared Winmedia player. I hope the other songs are a little bit more energetic. With more dynamic sounding instrumentation. I guess it is a combination of strong-armed tactics of exclusivity. Being "Bound and tied" to Windows. And my anger being greater than the energy of the songs. Jim PS - No Windoze arguments PLEASE!!!
