But when the person that wrote the actual song lyrics go and explain what the song is about, then there's no point in someone else coming along and saying "why don't they just admit that it's about God?". This in essence is saying that either the person that wrote the lyrics is a liar, or is delusional. And I think that in this case, neither is true. Creed... Scott Stapp in particular, has never lied about the meanings behind their songs. They have admitted many many times that they are spiritual (not religious, but spiritual... there is a difference)... so why would they not admit to writing this song about God, when they have done so (admitting that a song has a connection to a God) in the past? People are allowed to get whatever message that they can from a song... whether it is the true message or not... but to go and ask why Creed would just not admit that it is about God is more ignorance than viewpoint. If a person feels that it is about God, then that's one thing... but to argue with the person that wrote it... that's the same as saying that they're a Christian band after they announce that they're not. In reality, who would know better than the band themselves, right? Just my thoughts... ¤]\[][G}{T§TÖ®]v[¤ http://www.geocities.com/npicrash NightStorm_Draco_@hotmail.com Admin@AmericanPearlFan.cjb.net NightStorm@isyourgod.cjb.net I've seen the wicked fruit of your vine, Destroy the man who lacks a strong mind Human pride sings a vengeful song Inspired by the times you've been walked on My stage is shared by many millions, Who lift their hands up high because they feel this We are one We are strong, The more you hold us down the more we press on What if you did?
