================================================ Subject: Re: 'My Sacrifice' Inspiration From: To: Date: Fri 12 Oct 2001 19:08:03 EDT ================================================ A song can be interpreted many ways. example: This song has already had an impact on me, because the way I believe it could be interpreted is as two people being reunited in the afterlife. Maybe this is just because of my recent loss, but if you read the lyrics, it could really fit. "Hello my friend, we meet again it's been a while where should we begin? Feels like forever." And "My sacrifice" could be the life on earth we give up when we die. "Oh how quickly life can turn around in an instant..." would very adequately describe how it feels to lose a loved one. Sorry to get mushy on you guys here, but: Mike, "I just want to say Hello again." Umm... not to sound harsh, but not every song written is about a God. In fact, you might be surprised, but many of them have nothing to do with God. Why not accept the fact that the song might really be about what they say it's about. When they write a song from a spiritual standpoint, they admit to it... I don't think they're dancing around any issues here, but instead writing a song about something other than a God. There are other things in this world more important than a God, and those things tend to be written about as well... some people just fail to accept that. >> To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp
