You have a good point there Alexis, he could have very well been inspired by his relationship with Brian, or the band's relationship with Brian. I mean sure the lyrics do point to a more intimate relationship, but that doesn't mean Brian couldn't have been his inspiration. Even though something inspires you to write about it, that doesn't mean each word has to be directly related to the situation, person, or whatever your inspiration was.   Well anyway, thanks for offering up a good interpretation for us to think about. I'm just loving this!
