Dear Creed fans,

Scott Stapp and the With Arms Wide Open Foundation today announced that they will immediately donate $50,000 to New Yorkers for Children (NYFC). NYFC is an established non-profit organization that raises funds to support the New York City Administration for Children's Services (ACS). This is the organization that will be responsible for taking care of some of the children orphaned by the WTC tragedy -- stated in news reports as numbering more than 500--as well as the family members who will now be caring for and supporting their relatives' orphaned children.

The Foundation is also pledging to match, dollar-for-dollar, donations sent to the Foundation for NYFC, up to an additional $50,000. Donations for NYFC may be sent to the Foundation's office, or can be made on the Foundation's website, www.witharmswideopen.org. Moreover, proceeds from the Foundation's celebrity softball event, to be held this Saturday in Orlando, Florida, will be forwarded to NYFC.
