It may be because of the shortage of flags in the stores. What a way to show patriotism. :\ Anyway, it's nice on campus here. On friday everybody came dressed in red, white and blue as did many of the schools around us. The professors even handed out ribbons for us to pin on in red white and blue. Much like the ones you would see in the upper lefthand corner on some tv programs. There isn't a house in driving distance that I saw without a flag in the window, on cars, flagpoles, etc. I too have one out my window and on the back of my car. Also, I did see some people driving with their headlights on all day, but I never heard anything on the news about it. But on Friday, I did see everyone standing on their porch with a lit candle. That was a nice surprise to see walking out. :) On Tue, 18 Sep 2001 08:36:22 -0700 "~Kristin ~" writes: > Hi Lee and the rest of the list :) > > I just wanted to post a little and say that our community seems to > be > displaying a lot of flags which I am very proud of.
