You're one of the few around here who can "agree to disagree." Although I don't think we disagreed alot in what we said. Just on details. I know that God will intervene, but he has to do it in his own time, in order to fulfill the prophesies of the Old and New testaments in the Bible. And I DO agree that he does not require tokens of appreciation, or sacrifices to get forgiveness and salvation. All you have to do is ask. That's why Christ was sacrificed, he took on all of our sins, and suffered for us. He was the ultimate sacrifice, and we no longer need to do that. he was the only one who could do that, because he was "perfect." Like the lambs they sacrificed in the Old testament had to be "spotless" the sacrifice to end all sacrifices had to be spotless too. But I ALSO beleive that though we do see our punishments for our sins NOW, that ultimately the people who commit acts of terrorism may or may NOT suffer now, but they WILL suffer eternally. Though we know nothing about when God will intervene. I do question the lack of intervention now. I am not Christian, Muslem, Jewish or any derived religion. Since they seem to be made from a prehistoric rendition. One that primitive man has always flock to. Be it a tribe, that throws the innocent into volcanoes. So they would appease the volcano gods. A God from Greek Mythology. Or a God that was derived from the Pegan Faith. Where sacrifice was needed to appease a God. My view of God is that he protects now. He punishes now. He is here with us now. He does not require tokens of appriciation. He is not a bloodthirsty being. Believe in him. (Though I really wouldn't give a gender to God). As you believe in yourself. Treat others, as you would want to be treated. I respect your views. They are your religious beliefs. I don't want you to change your views. Since I do not want to be a carrier of lost souls. I just hope that we do not tackle this problem, from a religious tactic. Though, the building of the temple, would be a nice thing to see. Since it would allow us to verify, the religious beliefs, from the bible. Thanks for your views. As well as the interpretation of the bible context.
