I wasn't meaning to shoot your posting of the article down... I was merely pointing out that recently, as in the past 3 days, I have received this article over 25 times, and each person is under the assumption that it was written regarding the events that took place in New York and Washington... and although every bit of the article was written in truth, it was also done 30 years ago.
What led me to believe that you were stating that the article was written following these events was your opening paragraph, saying that only partial worldwide coverage was given, and mentioning that the editorial was done recently, and by a TV commentator.  All innocent mistakes, and with some of the opening statements I've seen to this editorial, yours has come across as probably about the most correct one so far (one I recently received stated that he had run it in yesterdays paper... wow, the reply I got when I told the person that sent it that George Sinclair has been dead since 1984 so therefore must be an EXCELLENT writer... some people have NO sense of humor)... but I kind of felt that before people passed the article on to other friends, that they should know the whole story to avoid further confusion... none of it was meant to be a cut down on you... and if it came across as that, then I apologize... it was not what I was meaning to do.

I sent this article because it made me think about the world and what goes on in it, nowhere did I infer or imply that it was written because of what happened on Tuesday. I was hoping that it would make some of the listers here think and not nitpick about when it was published. I hardly ever send any mail to this list because of all the nastiness that goes on sometimes and to be honest most of the mail that comes through here I delete anyway I was hoping to expand minds not look to be corrected.
