Well, I just talked to Debbi, and she has unsubbed.  I agree that we all
deal with tragedies differently, and as I've said, I'll be the first to
admit that pretty much anything is fair game here (hell, look how long the
"ass" thread carried on).  OTOH, as I also posted earlier, and as Debbi has
now confirmed, it's just the fact that we've ALL read/heard/seen this ALL
DAY, and neither she nor I see the need to rehash the details again.  I
mean, consider if any of us DID have family or friends killed today.  Would
we want those details rehashed on a discussion list after it's been ALL
OVER the news for a full day already?

But honestly if there is someone who doesn't want to read about it no one is
forcing them too.  If anyone wants to they can delete what they don't want to
read.  Many people, including myself need a place to just talk about this
tragedy.  I mean damn I see it on the news, I see it from my window even.  I
just found out that one of my friends worked in one of the buildings that
collapsed, and I have another friend who works on wall street, plus a friend
who was supposed to transfer to a job in the WTC, I'm hoping she didn't
though, no one has heard from her yet. The other two are thankfully accounted
for.  My plans to fly to California next year are no more.  I find it
comforting to know that there are people out there who I can actually talk
too about this.  I mean no disrespect to anyone, but what Debbi did was
pretty fucked up especially at a time when everyone needs to join together.
Sorry about the long email but I'm really about to burst right now, so many
emotions are running through me and i really don't know what to do.
