An excellent point, and I'd just like to say that I'm not trying to fight with anyone.  I just don't understand how anything Debbi said was out of line (including her last post, considering the one she was replying to).  Are we really all so blind to the fact that "dickwaving" has no place here (i.e., "I saw the second plane crash into the WTC."  "Oh yeah, well I saw people flinging themselves from the 80th floor.")?  If we're pulling together, why can't we pull together enough to NOT rehash these details again and again, when we can simply turn to the news for that.

Can I ask everyone to please keep something in mind... I don't know for sure who on the list is American and who isn't, but it seems like at a time like this, we should try to refrain from fighting amongst ourselves.  Even if we have different viewpoints on how to best handle the situation, we should try our best not to argue about petty things... I just feel that there's enough pain and sufferering going on right now without adding to it by arguing.
