That can also depend on the STYLE of music the bassist plays.  There aren't
many (if ANY) bassists better than Les Claypool of Primus.  He auditioned
for Metallica after Cliff died, but his style was just SO different from
Metallica's sound that Jason became almost a shoo-in.  Perhaps with their
NEWER sound, Les could be brought on now?
