Unless you're just a TOTAL screw-up, once you leave the command where you've had trouble, you pretty much start fresh, and that also to a certain extent can apply if you've performed very well. Coming out of AIT, I was the top student in my class (known as "Honor Grad"), had been the APS (Assistant Platoon Sergeant - basically the drill instructor's right hand; he made the rules, I enforced them), and was very highly regarded. When I got to Colorado, it pretty much meant nothing until and/or unless I could follow through and perform equally as well. ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Saturday, September 01, 2001 9:14 PM Subject: Re: WAS Re: NCR: ABSOLUTELY STUNNED - NOW Pointless teasing > Well right, and since you know more about the military than I do, admittedly, > I'll take your word for it. but just like in any workplace, if you get on > your superiors' bad sides, it's bound to affect you in one way or another. > > Jen To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp
