It's about him making an assertion, me telling him that it's wrong and asking him why he insists it's right. "because I read it somewhere" doesn't cut it when I work in the sales and marketing organization of the company he's discussing and I'm telling him it's NOT TRUE. Why one would think that some unknown source knows more about how we're selling our products than we do is beyond me. He should have just said, "I'm not sure where I read it. And an acknowledgement that the possibly exists that I *MIGHT* be right wouldn't have hurt. Instead he kept going down the same path of this subsciription/contract thing. Which isn't any more true now than it was the first time he talked about it. Well Debbi, I found what you were looking for. And so as to avoid Kevin accusing me of editing histories, which I admit I did with this one (I cut out the part where Jim mentions a problem with mspexe), I have left the header intact, so that you can go and find the original in your archive too. As you can see, he admitted to the possibility of being wrong, and although it isn't a full admittance (since, as I have kept saying, there is no way to know for sure what he has and hasn't read in the past), it IS what you asked for up there. ¤]\[][G}{T§TÖ®]v[¤ ----- Original Message ----- From: Creed - 7M3 - Live To: Sent: Monday, August 13, 2001 10:06 PM Subject: Re: Backing up the XP subcribers a bit.
