Jim and I were discussing how Linux allows for the ability to set Shell accounts for other users... better FTP access... Telnet access to shell accounts... the ability to run stable IRCd servers and services (UnRealIRCd came out with a Win32 version, that spent more time crashing due to the memory demands). We were neither bashing nor praising either Operating system, when you chimed in and tried to make the comparison between hackers and Linux (Tuesday, August 07, 2001 2:42 PM... and look the damn thing up yourself... would hate to have you think I "edited" it before sending a copy). > > Yep... > So much about your accusation of us not knowing who posted it. A discussion list with MORE THAN ONE TOPIC!!! SAY IT AIN'T SO!!! I was unaware that when one topic is being discussed, other new topics are not permitted. Thank you for letting me know. I'll be sure to not interupt the "ass" topic till it's done. > > Check the archives... > Nice editing job below. I can't tell who said what. What is her sources that her OE crashes? What is Ross' source that his OE wouldn't let him delete his mail? Is there a URL that they can provide? Nope... guess it must be a baltant lie in hopes of bringing down the Microsoft Corperation. > > Jim talked about flaws and he was attacked... > Again, revisionist history. And what you are doing to Jim for being a Linux user isn't demonstrating the same characteristics... okay, if you say so. Here's your sheet... and scissors... and a nice pretty multi-colored butterfly to put on the front. Now go get those Anti-MSNers! > > Actually, he asked some valid questions about such things as the Kernal > that > > XP will be running on... and even got some respectable answers... > > then people started to cut him down again > You just proved my point. I didn't edit this one yet... it doesn't say that. Ahh... so you admit that you were attacking him. Thank you. Point has been made. No need for me to post anything further.
