The Alarm did almost all of their writing on acoustic guitars then adapted the songs for an "alarm" sound. So when the songs are played acoustically, they sound just as great as they do at full electric sound. I agree that it's a good measure, but I'd also agree that it's not the only measure. I mean, we're never going to hear acoustic Metallica (with the exception of "Tuesday's Gone" from Garage Inc., and they had so many other musicians with them that it doesn't really count anyway), but IMO Lars and Co. are some of the most talented musicians in the world. And trust me, their live show is absolutely AWE-INSPIRING. That said, I do like your choices.
