Probably, in the same place that I read about VB.net and it not having the ability to make executable programs. I'll try that search criteria. It might lead me to the discussions/news. > You: I don't know, why don't you prove me wrong? > North America: Because you can't prove a negative. Back up your claim. > You: I can't. I believe that I stated that it is difficult, if not impossible, to prove the non-existance of something. I guess the reading of the terms and conditions for XP (OS) would ultimately prove or nullify my fear. > Scott: Hey, Office XP was going to be subscription based for a small > percentage of sales, but backed off. > You: See? Maybe they should call thier products by better terms. Calling everything XP is a bit confusing. Also, the title of the article was in reference to the OS. http://www.insiderreports.com/StoryPage.ASP_Q_ChanID_E_SO_A_StoryID_E_20001666 Look at the link and read it. We do know that the idea of a subscription Office suite was planned. So the possibility for MS to charge for MS, the OS, is a possible event. > I believe that people would rather see the issues cease. That are in reference to my vocabulary, or in regard to my punctuation. They are at least aware, that there is other stuff, that they can use. If there ever turns out to be a scheme, to rent an OS. I don't mind the critical comments. They will get me ready for the presidency, of these great United States.
