It does mention a subscription service, Stardock, utilizing its technology along with Microsoft-written APIs for system trays rather than desktop icons. A search of the article found no other references to "subscription". Try again. -----Original Message----- From: Creed Discussion List [mailto:CREED-DISCUSS@WINDUPLIST.COM] On Behalf Of Creed - 7M3 - Live Sent: Friday, August 10, 2001 5:19 PM To: CREED-DISCUSS@WINDUPLIST.COM Subject: Backing up the XP subcribers a bit. Still no explaination about the plan for price. There were articles on the Internet regarding these matters. Instead of commenting further about the XP thing. I'll look for the articles. Here is one article that I bookmarked. It was about AOL, MS and Linux. But I only skimmed the article http://www.zdnet.com/eweek/stories/general/0,11011,2771840,00.html Then the XP article at this link. It refers to the subscription thing< I'll try to link to atricles in the future. http://www.zdnet.com/eweek/stories/general/0,11011,2803079,00.html Jim To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp
