Ahahahaha, good one David!  I don't know about the rest of the list, but I understood what you were driving at, and my answers are as follows:

1.  Not being a very big fan of video, I don't know that I'd really care to take the time to update the technology, and more importantly, I think it would lose it's flavor if it WERE updated (kinda like "colorizing" a classic black-and-white film).

2.  Being the HUGE Metallica fan that I am, I wouldn't be totally honest if I didn't say that they lost something truly special when Cliff was killed, and the music HAS "suffered" a bit (not MUCH but enough so that one really has to wonder what happens NOW, with Jason gone and James' battle with addiction).  But unlike Led Zeppelin losing Bonham, Metallica were really just getting "on the map" when Cliff died, so if they HAD quit, I think it would have been a tragedy (as opposed to Zeppelin, who IMO made the right decision after Bonham's death, as they were already pretty much the greatest band in the world).  As for AC/DC, that's a tough call.  As I said yesterday, Bon was much better, but Brian DID have his moments.  And God knows we all would have missed Angus if they had broken up rather than continue on.

Hey Nikki

Sorry to say but not a big Van Halen fan so have little to no opinion in the effect of.

First question would u do the Jailbreak film clip differently now using today's society standards & technology differently to what they did (to the acdc fans what r your opinions on this).

I would love to pose a final question (Removing Creed from the Picture). Comparing bands of 70's & 80's who after acidents or differing opinions went on to replace members & those who faded (wrong word all I could come up with) into the background. Does everybody think that A. The music & style changed if that member was replaced & B) That they should have done a Led Zepplin in stating that the music would not be the same & almost didn't play again rather than A Van Halen or ACDC.
