================================================ Subject: Unix in 2039 --- rollaround...Linux From: "Creed - 7M3 - Live" To: Date: Thu 9 Aug 2001 18:35:55 -0400 ================================================ I don't use UNIX now. It costs money to run UNIX. Being that Unix and Linux are pretty much the same with the portability to different computer systems. Plus, they both use pretty much the same command line programs. That makes it nice for occasions when you may have to use a Unix system. At least you could navigate around on the Sun Microsystems machine. Linux runs on the PC, Alpha and SPARC machines.
