The last M$ product that I paid for was to upgrade from 16 bit windows
3.1 to windows 95.

I also bought the 32 bit msoffice package.

The only reason that I got newer versions of mScrash was that it was
pre-installed on the machines that I bought.

MS 98 was on my pentium 233 MHz and MS ME was on the newer Pentium 3. I
rarely use MS. But have it set up to dual boot into either Linux or ME.
The ME is when I want to test windoze stranded programs. But, believe
me. If I can burn CD's, surf the Internet, play multimedia. Use
spreadsheet programs, document and HTML. Plus program in a host of
different programming languages for free. Why the heck pay to make the
richest man in the world richer?

Don't we have other things to do with the money? I think I have better
things to spend my wages on.

BTW - Jon ... Good point on the have to have it. If it is new. People
assume it is better. But newer does not mean better.
"Old and Lousy" might be better than "you gotta buy...It's new" (but
only rumored to be the best thing since equality and freedom.)

I am actually very impressed with Windows Me..this computer I am using now is
still fairly new so it came with Windows Me..but my other computer had 95 and
98, and I never had any problems..except for operator error..lol..that would
be me..
