So, that means "Pop" (an affectionate term for one's father) would correctly
be spelled "PUP" (which, in the states means 1)a small/young dog (as in,
short for "puppy"), or 2)a small/young child (most commonly used as an
insult, as in "That Hashim Kabib is such a PUP.")
