NT4 has problems with running M$ products correctly. With M$ 2000. It is incompatible to run some of our software on at even a greater extent. My point is that no none is seeing the need to buy XP or NT5. So windoze is not going to support it's other Windoze versions. Their tactic is to force people to use piss out more money to buy an incompatiblized operating system.Since the NT5 kernel is incompatible with earlier windoze kernels. My hope is that people will get tired of paying for worthless upgrades and migrate to free operating systems that are improved and shared with others. Where there is no cost for the bug fixes. > Of course they're going to be discontinued. Like Windows 2.0 was. Like > Windows 95 was. Windows is not forcing me to upgrade. They are using tactics to force windoze users to upgrade. I don't see a reason to upgrade an operating system for a price. My pinion is that Windoze ought to bring all of thier users up to a common operating system at no cost. I realize that more powerful computers are needed for the newer versions to work properly. But what about the people that have ME. Which is pre-installed on the later computers. Why not give them an upgrade for free? > Pick one position and stick with it, please. Either MS is forcing you to > upgrade or they aren't. > M$ is not forcing me to upgrade. I'll have the same old crap that was pre-installed on it at purchase. If you are a continued windoze user. You will be forced to upgrade your product as part of the ongoing project of M$. > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Creed - 7M3 - Live" > >>Not my OS.
