================================================ Subject: Pais but not pias From: "Creed - 7M3 - Live" To: Date: Thu 2 Aug 2001 20:09:51 -0400 ================================================ Pais Pa`is, n. OF. pu"is, F. pays, country. (O. E. Law) The country; the people of the neighborhood. Note: A trial per pais is a trial by the country, that is, by a jury; and matter in pais is matter triable by the country, or jury. I couldn't find pias. But I thought that I heard of that word before. I believe that it meant a bitter personality. Or a phoney two-faced personality. FYI (Guess what pias meant) Mr Mungo wrote: > quite possibly, but the big question is: > do you know what the hell 'pias' is??? > pies? piss? > and no you can't phone a friend > > Mr Mungo, has his money on piss > > --- Bklynbaby727@AOL.COM wrote: > In a message > dated 08/01/2001 7:25:27 PM > >>Eastern Daylight Time, >>kbrown@MSN.COM writes: >> >> >> >>>"your". >>>"guess" >>> >>>No idea what "pias" is supposed to be. >>> >>>----- Original Message ----- >>>From: "Taylour l manly" >>> >> >> >>>To: >>>Sent: Wednesday, August 01, 2001 1:41 PM >>>Subject: hey jackson! >>> >>> >>> >>>>your quite full of yourself aren't you, but >>>> >>then again i huess we all in >> >>>>some sense are just a bunch of pias gas >>>> >>bags, at any rate good to have >> >>>>you back, i missed the debates lol :) can i >>>> >>ask how old you are , just >> >>>>wondering? >>>>X.C.F. >>>>When she sleeps she always cries >>>> for the pain she tries to hide... >>>>Blindness~ X.C.F. >>>> >>hey Kevin, wasn't it supposed to be "you're" as >>in "you are" I think your >>slipping there buddy lol >> Jess -- "I think every good Christian ought to kick Falwell's ass." - Senator Barry Goldwater, when asked what he thought of Jerry Falwell's suggestion that all good Christians should be against Sandra Day O'Connor's nomination to the Supreme Court To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp
