================================================ Subject: NCR: the Raven of Texas...returns?... From: "Jackson Crawford" To: Date: Tue 31 Jul 2001 15:25:25 -0500 ================================================ Er... It's been a whilst? Ladies and gentlemen, there is really no nice way of putting this, but, unfortunately, call the rat Texian bastard what you will - be it Jackson, Corvvs, Hraefn, Kruk, Rabe, Cuervo, Corbeau, Colonneh, Tulugaq, Korax, Dickweed, whatever - he has returned, at least temporarily to the CreedList after a two month abscence on vacation. Weird, huh? Especially when I swore that I'd never go back to any mailing lists. When I decided that the damned things were hellspawn, that most of you were full of crap, and when I had "such better things to do with my time." The truth is, its being "the dog days of summer" with my ass's literally being trapped in the house, this doesn't sound like a particularly bad way to blow off excess time any more. Beside which, at least some of you are fun to debate with, or have fascinating ideas, and the rest of you at least usually have pretty good jokes...right? This list is still "special" and "unique"...right? At any rate, I don't know how long I'll be here, because I am sort of betwixt jobs and betwixt school-years. Any number of factors could push me off of the list again. Now, I know that within the duration of my original time on the list, I had a bad habit of pissing people off pretty badly, so if you'd like, we can hold an election and see who wants me to be here and who doesn't. Till then you might just be stuck with me. So who's still around? Anxious (yeah, right - okay perhaps a little) to hear from old friends, and perhaps some of you damned newbies who seem to breed like rats. Any way, till next we meet, wszystkiego najlepszego...
