You might see a discussion about WHY they're going down that road though. I'd still argue that it's because that's where they want to - for reasons that we may never know. But certainly not because the think that's what you or I or anyone else wants. Because if that's the case, they would have recorded "The Joshua Tree" over and over and over again. That's what we all wanted. Nobody who loved it or "unforgettable fire" wanted zooropa or achtung baby to come down the pike. -----Original Message----- From: Lee Reed [mailto:creedyrn@hotmail.com] Sent: Sunday, July 22, 2001 11:31 PM To: creedlvr@LAFORNARA.COM; CREED-DISCUSS@WINDUPLIST.COM Subject: Re: Odp: Re: Selling Out. .. Band changes you are right, in that they can do whatever they please, because at this point, they do control what they do...but i do feel that everything u2 has done prior to atylb has been cutting edge, new, innovative...is atylb 'back to the roots' or is it 'sellout'...good fodder for an argument, don't ya think?LOL Lee (and girlfriend, ya can't be that old...at least no older than me!LOL) To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp
