I bought that album on my search to Gone Away. While listening to Americana, I could tell that the wana-be song was purely satirical. But the POP crowd went off and running with this song as thier National Anthem. Anyway, I think that WAWO was just a tribute song to his then wife. The POP crowd took off with the song. Along with Higher. Basically, I think that the market is really unpredictable. Since there is a new breed of Creed fans. The ones that only know WAWO and Higher. Then the ones that have enjoyed thier other songs because of the meanings, energy or peace or emotional help from listening to the songs. Thier third album might be interesting. Since there is no formula for success in music, it seems. They could come up with a bland album and go diamond again or could come up with a great album and only sell a few copies. Well, at least they are back in the studio again. They might realize that it would work out better with a bassist. Or they might make it work sharing the bass line duties. But I am skeptical about them actually being able to pull that one off. Jim Agnieszka wrote: > << Will the bass tracks be any good? There is another theory which states that this has already happened. -- Douglas Adams, "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp
