================================================ Subject: Re: Fw: (list members related) Family issues From: "]\\[][G}{T§TÖ®]v[" To: Date: Tue 17 Jul 2001 10:57:19 -0400 ================================================ Go to http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp and put your e-mail address (that you have subscribed to the list) in the box where it asks for it... then pick CREED from the list selection... and in the third part, select NOMAIL. This will temporarily turn off your subscription to the list. When you're ready to get the mail again, go to that site, and select MAIL. Be sure to watch for, and reply to a confirmation mail from Listserve, as all commands from that page require a verification. All ya have to do when you get the verifying e-mail, is hit REPLY, clear all the text from the message body, and type in OK. It *should* send back one final e-mail right after telling you if the command went through or not. For those unfamiliar with this site, I am posting all of the options available to you for this list. The following is an explanation of what each of the options does: - UNSUB: Unsubscribe from the list. - QUERY: This will have your list settings emailed to you so that you can see what settings you are already using. - DIGEST: This allows you to receive all of the emails of the day in one big message rather than as many smaller messages throughout the day. - NODIGEST: This is a default setting. You would use this setting when you want to receive each email separately as they come. - REPRO: This setting tells the server to send a copy of a posting to its sender. - NOREPRO: This is a default setting. With this option set, a sender will not receive a copy of his or her own postings. - NOMAIL: Use this setting when you are going away for a while (ie vacation). It will stop sending emails to your account until you use the MAIL command. This way, your inbox will not get flooded while you are away. - MAIL: This is a default setting. This means that you will start receiving messages again. - MIME: Use this if you want to set your preferences for MIME type. - NOMIME: Use this if you want to turn off MIME. Hope this helps, and have fun... erm... well, having seen the movie American Pie myself, I'm tempted to take back that last comment... just recalling the Flute player incident. Oh well.... ¤]\[][G}{T§TÖ®]v[¤ http://NightStorm.isyourgod.com/ NightStorm_Draco_@hotmail.com NightStorm_Draco@creedlist.com NightStorm@isyourgod.com I've seen the wicked fruit of your vine, Destroy the man who lacks a strong mind Human pride sings a vengeful song Inspired by the times you've been walked on My stage is shared by many millions, Who lift their hands up high because they feel this We are one We are strong, The more you hold us down the more we press on What if you did?
