================================================ Subject: Fw: BSB .. Bagpipes and Kilts From: "]\\[][G}{T§TÖ®]v[" To: Date: Wed 11 Jul 2001 06:32:52 -0400 ================================================ Just to show that the Boy Band (in partictular, the BSB) has come up in the discussion on here before... plus, I just HAD to repost this reply, all for Album Rocker's closing statement. I would actually pay money to see them if they were to persue that path. ¤]\[][G}{T§TÖ®]v[¤ ----- Original Message ----- From: Album Rocker To: Creed Discussion Sent: Monday, January 01, 2001 12:35 PM Subject: Re: BSB .. Bagpipes and Kilts I loved your point of view about the BSB maybe only doing what the record companies wanted them to be at the time. Maybe BSB will do great upon their departure from the tin eared whiney music that they are playing at present. With the determination of Creed to get out in their own chosen style. Instead of trying to go with what is popular according to the record companies. Maybe BSB could turn into a great band with their intended departure from their record company determined style. I'm sure that they would rather be playing to a greater market of fans. Instead of 7 to 17 year olds that their whiney style appeals to. Maybe they will play bagpipes and wear kilts. They display a certain image as members of the BSB inpublic, but that may not be the image they want... if that makes sense. Alot of people have to keep up a certain appearance at their job, and lookand/or act completely different outside of work, and their job is theBackstreet Boys. For example, at my job I have to wear a uniform, there arerules on everything right down to the color socks I wear, the nail polishthat I couldn't wear if I wanted to, what jewelry is and isn't allowed, howmy hair has to be done... everything. In addition, I have to have the right"attitude"... maybe if you think about it that way... ? You never know, they could be perfectly content with the way things are for them, or they! could lie awake in bed at night wishing that they could wear kilts and playthe bagpipes in their videos. *shrug*Tara----- ----------------------- Original Message ----- From: SoDa0PoP@aol.com To: "Creed Discussion" Creed@gate.listserve.com Sent: Saturday, December 30, 2000 9:08 PM Subject: Re: The laughable BSB article I dont know y the Backstreet Boys would hate themselves. I mean think boutit, they are rich, talented, good-looking, guys w/ hit records n thousands of girls wanting them. Whoever wrote the Rolling Stone article obviously doesnt like the BSB n was just giving his own opinion on them. But when u think bout everything BSB has, im sure they are a bunch of the happiest guys. ~Allison -- To thine own self be true.
