Well, that's a toughie to get over.  Fighting that is something that deserves a lot of respect.  I've known people that are winning that battle, and some that are losing (I play hockey w/ a guy that regularly falls off the wagon....fortunately he hasn't been crushed by its wheels yet)

However, he actually plays BETTER when he shows up drunk.  Hands are steady and his shots almost always go in.  Sober?  He couldn't play in the Mite leagues w/o getting lapped by the 6 year-olds.
