Hey all....I saw Scott today and I had the opportunity to talk to him for
quite a while. First, let me say that not only is he an incredible
songwriter and singer, but he is an amazing human being.
Today's event was for the kids, it was a WAWOF event and he came and spent a
great deal of time playing basketball and just hanging out with the kids. He
also kissed my daughter (twice!!! - she's 5 btw) once cause she asked and
once...when he was leaving...to thank her for taking "care" of Jagger....that
time was accompanied by a big hug too.
He signed anything we wanted signed...including my limited edition LP of HC,
which he asked me where I had gotten it cause it was very rare. I got it
from a very good friend, and former Lister, who has connections at Wind-Up.
There are not enough words to express how incredible it was to see this big
time rock star just hanging out with a bunch of families...I am sure my
children (who are 5 and 6) will never forget it.
Anyway...there are a couple more posts to follow...each of which talks about
different bits of info I gathered today which I thought would interest you
all (and hopefully spark some Creed discussion).
One more thing I want to say is this...I asked him if he ever came on the
List and he said he used to, but that for quite some time, he had heard that
the List had gotten so ridiculous and that since then, he had never come
back. He told me he had heard it had gotten as bad as the chat room...I
don;t know if any of you have ever been in the Creed chat room before, but it
is awful! I was mortified to think that he thought of the List in that way.
I told him I had left the List for a while, but that I had recently returned
and that I had high hopes that it would get better soon.
