But if I understand it correctly, this is my response: If people are under the impression that they can get to the band from this list, based on the information given to sign up and the welcome mail after subscription, it's mistaken. There's nothing that suggests that they'll be able to reach the band. Contests, free tickets and promotional stuff have very little to do with the band and a whole lot more to do with the label who hosts the list, so why those would be gone, I have no idea. I'm sure Wind-up could answer that question equally as well, if not better, than the band can. But for whatever reason, it's likely not because the band is or isn't participating on the list. And yes, it's a list without band member participation. As designed and as expected. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against anyone participating. It's an unrestricted list and I'd fight tooth and nail to defend anyone's right to be here. I think that everyone that signs up for the list at least supposes that the list will be a way to get to talk with one of thier liked groups. But you are right that this is a list of 600 people that seem to not have access to the band. I remember the contests. The free tickets and the promotional stuff and the like from the past. I liked it. Let's just say that this is a list of fans and will never have Creed member participation. It always was without band participation. And so it remains.
