And you BET he talks about it when he gets the opportunity. It's probably not coincidence he's a firefighter now, you know. Didn't know if you caught the reference in my story. -----Original Message----- From: ]\[][G}{T§TÖ®]v[ [mailto:NightStorm_Draco_@hotmail.com] Sent: Thursday, July 05, 2001 12:10 AM To: creedlvr@LAFORNARA.COM; CREED-DISCUSS@WINDUPLIST.COM Subject: Re: Re: NCR Ozzfest and other concerts Bet he spends a lot of time talking to people about the danger, and outright (sorry Debbi) stupidity about making your own explosives, and cannons, and stuff like that. We used to get a statistical chart up at the firehall every year right before Halloween that would list off the year's (to about September) deaths, injuries, and such from homemade explosives, and accidents involving fireworks, and all that kind of preventable stuff... and a real scary thought was that no matter how much campaigning people would do about safety at home and stuff, and how many commercials, and how much pamphlets are printed out and handed out at schools, the numbers kept rising. I always figured it was because there just wasn't enough survivors to talk to everyone else about what happened, and why it should never happen again. "Dead people can't tell you what they did wrong... they can only tell you that they shouldn't have done it at all" was my old chief's line... perhaps it's just one of life's learning experiences? ¤]\[][G}{T§TÖ®]v[¤ To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp
