I missed the first two which was sevendust and kid rock. the traffic was hell. and we even left 3 hours ahead for a one hour drive and still did not get there on time. But I was not too crushed about missing kid rock but however I like sevendust in concert and was disappointed about that! We got there when Creed was just taking the set with Ode (my husbands favorite creed song) so we had to rush to find our seats!! my husband was having a fit, it was pretty funny. lol but anyway, Creed was so awesome live I could not get over it! Scott's voice live is so GREAT! I was so impressed. than of course metallica came on and they are always good in concert. :) I was my favorite concert yet. well I guess I better go, I have probably written to much already! heehee maria :) ----- Original Message ----- From: "~Kristin ~" To: Sent: Tuesday, June 26, 2001 9:51 AM Subject: Staind/Disturbed/Godsmack & Deftones/Creed Hi Maria and the rest of the list! In answering your questions.. Staind is VERY good in concert. I've seen them 3 times now.. each time they get better I think. "Outside" and "Its Been Awhile" were both played with Aaron on the acoustic guitar sitting on a stool. It was perfect.. I just love his voice. They are definitely one band to see live. "Spleen" is one of our favorites and Aaron just goes ballistic on it.. lol Disturbed are also PHENOMENAL live! We saw them at Sokol Hall in Omaha in April I think. With Cold, Spineshank, and MuDvAyNe. Now THAT was an awesome show! I know why they refer to that place as Suck-Hole Hall though.. man it was hotter than hell.. I never sweat so much at a concert before in my life. And I mean even more than standing outside at a festival. It had to have been hotter than 100 degrees! We were way up on the balcony against the wall sitting/standing on the steps.. but man it was well worth it! We saw Fear Factory a few weeks ago at the Royal Grove here in Lincoln (it's also a strip joint..ugh).. and Spineshank was to play with them as well but somehow they got stranded in Minneapolis with bus troubles.. we were sooo bummed because they REALLY put on a good show too! Finally, Godsmack and Deftones. I can't wait! I've seen Godsmack twice now too, once last year and once this March with Staind, Cold, and Godhead. This time we got lawn seats for $17.50!! Isn't that cheap? And really there isn't a bad seat in that place. I saw Metallica, Days of the New, and Jerry Cantrell there back in July of '98 I think. It was very good too! Man I've got the concert fever.. lol.. I was watching part of the Behind the Music that I downloaded from the ftp server (thanks again Debbi!!!!) and saw the clips of Creed in concert again, and MAN I so want to be at a show!!!! I've only seen Creed twice in my life, but I could feel the energy again. I have never been happier at a concert than I have been at a Creed concert. I don't know WHAT it is.. but they are just so extraordinary ya know? K, I'll shush for now.. thanks for reading.. :) ~Kristin "We may rise and fall, But in the end, We'll meet our fate together.." ___________________________________________________________________________ Visit http://www.visto.com/info, your free web-based communications center.
